1975 MGB GT
I have decided to sell my MGB GT Jubilee model, number 114/750 and I really would appreciate it going to a home of someone who has more than a passing interest in MGs and it occurred to me that there may be a friend of a member,or even member looking to embark on MG ownership.
The car was first registered in June 1975 and had a total rebuild in 1997 .I have a part photo record ,together with a ring binder full of receipts which gives a very good indication as to the work carried out and to the high standard achieved. I also have the original "Passport to Service" booklet as well as handbook. Since that restoration the car has cover only 8750 dry miles and is presently taxed and tested until September this year and is garaged when not in use. It has been in my ownership since 2000. Back in the early 2000's it won 3 pride of ownership awards at various events and whilst not in concours condition it is about 90% of condition 1 and has a MGOC agreed valuation of £6000. Whilst sad to see it go I have to accept that my interest in it has waned over the last few months and I now have a more pressing need for the garage space. Price - I would be looking to talk around the £5000 mark. Attached are a couple of photos which give some indication of the cars condition, others are available. I can be contacted either via this e-mail, anthony.weeks@ntlworld.com or mobile 07790274597.
